SMS Terms & Conditions

1. Program Description

These SMS Terms & Conditions ("SMS Terms") apply when you opt in to receive SMS/text messages from Schad Agency, Inc. ("Schad Agency," "we," "our," or "us"). By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Schad Agency as described in these SMS Terms.

Schad Agency may send text messages related to insurance quotes, policy service, renewal reminders, claims updates, billing reminders, appointment scheduling, certificate requests, customer service, educational information, and marketing messages where permitted and consented to.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

You may opt in to receive SMS/text messages by submitting an online form, checking an SMS consent box, providing consent during a call, requesting text communication, or otherwise providing consent in a manner permitted by law. Consent to receive SMS/text messages is not required as a condition of purchasing insurance products or services.

When you opt in, you authorize Schad Agency to send text messages to the mobile number provided. You represent that you are the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number provided.

3. Message Types

Messages may include, but are not limited to:

Quote updates and requests for additional information.
Policy service communications.
Renewal reminders.
Claims-related updates or requests.
Billing reminders and payment-related notices.
Appointment scheduling and follow-up messages.
Certificate request updates.
Customer service communications.
Marketing or promotional messages, only where permitted and consented to.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your relationship with Schad Agency, the services requested, and your communication preferences. For most interactions, you may receive up to 4 messages per week, although frequency may vary during active quotes, renewals, claims, billing issues, or service requests.

5. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier's plan. Schad Agency is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

6. Opt-Out Instructions

You may opt out of SMS/text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You may also opt out by replying CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or by contacting us directly. After you opt out, we may send one confirmation message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After that, you will not receive further SMS/text messages from that program unless you opt in again.

8. Privacy and Data Sharing

Your privacy is important to us. SMS consent and phone numbers collected for SMS communications are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. We may share SMS-related information with service providers that help us operate our messaging program, but only as necessary to provide messaging services and subject to appropriate restrictions. 9. Delivery Not Guaranteed

SMS/text message delivery is subject to transmission from your carrier and may not be available in all areas or at all times. We are not liable for delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages.

10. Insurance Coverage Disclaimer

Text messages do not bind, change, cancel, renew, reinstate, or otherwise modify insurance coverage unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of Schad Agency and, where required, the applicable insurance carrier. Do not rely on text messages for urgent claim reporting, immediate coverage changes, or emergency communications unless you have received written confirmation.

11. Changes to SMS Terms

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on our Website with a revised effective date. Continued participation in our SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated SMS Terms.
